The mostly large sized paintings of the artist Tala assume the viewer to plunge into intensive worlds of color. Favorite themes of her artwork are the picturesque expression of the elements and the fascinating world of Africa. Her work is based on sketches and itineraries. Tala/ Eva-Maria Becker, born in 1968, used to work as a grafic-designer for an architect office.
In 2002 she started the internet-gallery Tala-art and solo exhibitions.
Since 2003 she´s working as a freelance artist and also doing commissioned work.

“Painting has been my passion for many years. To work with color, to capture impressions and emotions into a painting or just to make artistic experiments, are sensual experiences that always intrigue me anew. It is amazing how intense location, mood and personal emotions influence the development of a painting, so that it often takes an unexpected change during the creation. The inspirations for my paintings come in many different ways: impressions of travels, things that I have found at the beach, photos, personal experiences or music.”
